Our Story

We were flooded. We lost some books. We saved some books. Our friends brought more. We want to share them with you all! Rainbow Parachute Library = Books! + Arts! + Music! @Outdoors Brought to you with love by Z LAB along with the Harvey Relief for Houston Business Initiative

We lay out children's books in different languages on a giant rainbow parachute for kids to explore and to read, with music and art activities. Parachute always brings excitement and symbolize the "rainbow after Harvey." Of course it also serves as a prominent visual cue so you never worry about where to find us. ;-)

The Agenda: 4:00 Parachute Landing 4:30 Avis' Magic Performance 4:45 Show and Tell (bring a favorite book) 5:00 Reading and Creating (writing and artwork) 6:00 Parachute Wrap-up Books are for the taking in exchange for creative writing, drawing, or story telling, etc.
